This song was written by Steven Curtis Chapman, a Christian music artist who has adopted 3 girls from China. It is a song about how much can change in a child's life once he/she is finally given a home.
The lines in red were what really stuck out to me this morning.
I mean, we had been waiting and waiting and it was one of the toughest periods in our lives.
But in one moment, all that had been disappeared into what will be.
That is such a good way of describing the miracle of adoption,
for both the baby and the parents!!!

my heart breaks for every child who has ever had a thought like that, wondering what could be and if that day will ever come. i am so, so happy that this little baby will never be old enough to have that thought. your beautiful esther will only always know the eyes of a mom and dad who fell in love with her two years ago, and whose love for her will never fail! she will indeed flourish!

Aw...I just want to cry for joy for you. As a mommy now I know how truly AWESOME it is to finally know you have a baby and it will be soooo much more of a cooler event when you get there and get to meet her!

I have this CD and it always reminds me of you and my other dear friends who've endured the longing and waiting to be united as a family. Just knowing that, indeed, even as you were enduring some of your greatest struggles in the wait she was first growing in within the safety of a womb and then in the arms of loving, caring brothers and sisters in Christ meant that she was truly longing for you even as you were for her. Even as she was being formed in the womb God KNEW she would one day be in your arms and that the plans He has for her are GOOD and they will be fulfilled with each of you by her side to bring her into the fullness of that plan. Hallelujah! God's plans...timing...LOVE....are SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
