An awesome church and a wonderful Sunday

On Sunday we visited a HUGE church in the suburbs of Pretoria called Hatfield Christian Church (my parents in the US are acquainted with the senior pastor). A wonderful pastor couple from the church picked us up at our guest house and were our hosts for the entire day. They were so friendly and hospitable! We went with them to the prayer meeting, the church service (at least 4,000 people were there - all different colors!), then to a HUGE mall afterwards where we were treated to lunch and then went to a HUGE Christian bookstore.

Esther was SO good the whole day.
She just loves being out and about and
meeting new people and doing exciting things.
She continues to charm everyone with her curiosity,
smile and her calm demeanor.
She liked the worship music!

Letsholo and Anne Pelesi.
Letsholo had a BIG laugh,
and Anne helped us out with all kinds of tips
about African hair and African skin - she was Zulu!

Niklas was "forced" into an African experience -
tasting "biltong".
It looks really, really gross
but he thought it tasted good.

The fall/winter weather has really arrived...
It is a bit colder each day,
although if the sun is shining
in the middle of the day it still feels like
mild Swedish summer weather.

Hanging out with Mamma
in the Ergo Baby Carrier.

The guy from Ambassadors in Sport came
to pick up the soccer uniform donations.

Esther likes meeting new people!

Our happy baby girl!

Sounds like you're having so much fun!

Mentioning that Anne is Zulu... do you guys have any idea what Esther's background is?

Kicki
